Is IFSE still active after the CSI transition?

IFSE Institute remains active for existing enrolments. New registrations for equivalent courses route through CSI starting March 31, 2025, but IFSE keeps administering courses already in progress.

Is the IFSE login the same as MyCSI?

No. IFSE has its own account system at ifse.ca. CSI uses MyCSI on csi.ca. The two are separate, even though IFSE is transitioning under CSI's banner.

What's IFSE's relationship to Scotiabank?

Scotiabank uses IFSE courses for some staff training programs. "IFSE Scotiabank login" typically means a Scotiabank employee accessing an IFSE-delivered course, the login is the standard ifse.ca/login, not a separate Scotiabank portal.

What is IFSE Institute?

IFSE Institute has delivered Canadian financial-services education for 50+ years, including the CIFC (mutual funds), LLQP (life insurance), and CFP-pathway courses. Beginning March 31, 2025, IFSE moved registrations under CSI's banner as part of an industry consolidation.

Can't sign in?

I'm an existing IFSE student: do I still log in at ifse.ca?
Yes. If you enrolled before the CSI transition, finish your course at ifse.ca/login with your existing IFSE Student Number and password.

I'm new: should I sign up at IFSE or CSI?
Beginning March 31, 2025, new registrations for IFSE-equivalent courses (CIFC, LLQP) go through CSI. IFSE Institute partnered with CSI to keep the course content; the storefront moved.

My password doesn't work on ifse.ca
Use the password-reset link on the login page. IFSE uses a separate account system from CSI, your CSI password won't work here, and vice-versa.
I'm seeing ifse.org.uk instead of ifse.ca
ifse.org.uk is the UK Institute for Software Engineering, a different organisation. The Canadian IFSE Institute is ifse.ca.
